These terms apply to the Thin Place website and iOS application provided by Beacon and Balance LLC. By using Thin Place, you agree to use the service in accordance with these terms and applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Purpose of Thin Place

Thin Place offers Christian spiritual-practice guidance and related tools. It does not provide medical care, mental-health treatment, crisis services, legal advice, or professional pastoral counseling. Use your own judgment and seek qualified support when appropriate.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity performed through it. Provide accurate information, protect your sign-in method, and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Third-party services and content

Thin Place relies on services provided by Apple, Clerk, YouVersion, and other infrastructure providers. Their services and licensed content are governed by their own terms. Availability may be affected by changes or interruptions outside our control.

Ownership

Thin Place, its design, software, and original content are owned by Beacon and Balance LLC or its licensors. Scripture and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners and are used under applicable licenses.

Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features as the service evolves. We aim to provide a reliable experience but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, Thin Place is provided “as is” and “as available.” Beacon and Balance LLC disclaims warranties not expressly stated here and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an updated version takes effect indicates acceptance of the revised terms where permitted by law.
